After many months of guesses whispered around the net, J. J. Abrams newest addition to the Cloverfield series is here, and oh boy, did it catch us by a surprise.
It all started with the first Cloverfield movie from 2008, when its first teaser trailer didn’t include the film’s title and managed to drive speculations about the film, which only became more intriguing when the release date of the movie was published. Right until the movie was released, there was no real knowledge about the movie’s plot.
The second movie in the franchise, 10 Cloverfield Lane, that doesn’t really have anything to do with the first apart from the title, kept the same secrecy. The title of the movie was revealed only two months before the film was released, again, without revealing anything about the movie.
And now we arrive to the big bang that bombed us after the Sunday’s big game. For months now, everybody is talking about the newest film in the block, not really knowing anything about it apart from the title – The Cloverfield Paradox. Well, as it seems, you can now watch it on Netflix. That’s right, without any warning.
Well played Netflix.
