Days before it ends, we can say that 2017 turned out to be a great year for the cinematic world. We’ve seen some great movies, the return of some genres and the reinvention of some characters that we know and love for more than a decade. With that in mind, it’s time we start preparing for the year to come, with its most anticipated films, some that we can honestly say that makes us wish 2018 would be here already.
Early Man (Jan. 26)
The newest kid in the block at Aardman Animation (Wallace and Gromit) is a caveman that tries to preserve his way of living at the face of the Bronze Age.
God Particle (Cloverfield 3) (February 1)
We actually know next to nothing about this intriguing J.J. Abrams film, except that it involves astronauts that makes an awful discovery, but it only makes it more unbearable to wait for it to finally hit the theatres.
Black Panther (Feb. 15)
Marvel fans have waited a very long time for a black superhero to get his own film, and by the hands of director Ryan Cooger, we can rest assure that this is going to be a great action movie. Judging by its trailer, this notion is correct.
Annihilation (Feb. 22)
If the impressive cast of this film, including Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, and more, next to director Alex Garland, than you should really revaluate your love to films.
