What would you do if you looked out your window and see that there is a giant tsunami wave coming your way? Probably try to find a way to outrun this frightening sight. Then you realize that where you live is nowhere near any sea or ocean known to mankind. Would you still run to safety ground or try to understand what is going on?
This is exactly what happened to Johanna Hood, a photographer by trade, that lives in Hinesville, Georgia. She uploaded the pictures of this horrific sight with the caption: “Welp…it’s the end of the world guys sooo k bye.”
As you can guess, the world didn’t end that day. What she saw in the sky is something called shelf cloud, which is typically a precursor to a big thunderstorm.
